Our move has been moved. We thought about all the places we could live and decided upon two cities, both of which are 30 minutes from Owl's school. I guess this means all my research was for not. Ok, I guess it wasn't because Owl did do 2 years there. I'm nervous to go to public schools, which will probably be our options. I really like uniforms. I like that they teach a second language. We would move near his school, but it just didn't feel right.
This also means we won't be moving until June. Our plan was the end of April because our lease is up the end of the month. Since the school is farther away, we figured he should finish off the school year before we moved. I really need more space but I think we plan on starting to pack this weekend. At least the stuff we don't really use, like book shelves. I also hope we do find out what this baby is so I can get rid of some clothes. Our little two bedroom has gotten a little crowded with all the boys and girls clothes.
Ironically, I just found out today Monkey got into the school. Yay! Too bad we probably won't be going there.
Stay tuned though because our plans are always changing!

Ryan's birthday
A while ago we drove past Chuck E Cheese and Ryan made the comment that he had never been there. I starting thinking in my head this would be a fun thing for his 30th birthday. mostly because we can play a bunch of games and we won't need to get a babysitter. When we usually go out to places, the kids are going crazy but this time they actually had fun and I think Ryan might have had a little bit of fun too.

Ryan says I've been giving him a hard time about his gray hairs. This isn't new. I've been noticing them for over a year now. It shouldn't surprise him, his dad is gray. I'm sure he will look great.
In other news, I am getting anxious and I schedule our big ultrasound for the first Friday in April. I'm anxious to find out so I can get rid of some clothes :)

Talent Agency's
This evening I took my children to the talent agency who approached us at Toys R Us to what I was told was an audition. I guess there's a movie someone is filming here and they need a lot of kids and that's what I was told we were doing. I get there at 5:00 for my appointment time and they tell me it will be a half hour wait. I didn't eat dinner before I came because I figured it wouldn't be more than an hour and we could get some food. 5:30 the guy at the front desk asks my kids if they want some blocks. I didn't know why it took him so long! My kids were going crazy. You just can't lock kids in a small space without anything to do and I wasn't smart enough to take things with us to keep them occupied.
6:15 they finally come out. Of course, Owl had to go to the bathroom. He couldn't have gone the hour before! I go in, Frog is freaking out and signing milk. She weaned a couple weeks ago but still remembers she likes it. Of course, I don't have anything for her to eat or drink. The guy starts telling me about what they do. I sit there thinking 'I thought we were here for an audition for this movie.' He get's to the end. They are a full service talent agency. They do your head shots, hair, make-up, and get you auditions for life. The catch..... you pay $1000, per kid. Yes, you are getting something and I totally get that. I think they're even pretty legit and everything but they didn't tell me any of this up front. I thought we were just going to audition, like be an extra or something. At no time did they tell me they were just going to explain their business and try to represent my kids.
I really hate being lead to believe one thing and then be told something completely different! He did say because Owl can read, this would be a good time for him and maybe Frog because she's so young. Seriously, if my kids ever want to do something like this, we'll look into it again, but they haven't shown any interest in this kind of stuff. I mean when Monkey grows up, he wants to be a Jedi and Owl wants to be a dad. I don't think either of these need a talent agent.

Adventures in diaper shopping
We went to Toys R Us/Babies R Us to get some diapers. I had a $5 off coupon, so of course I had to use it! I discovered they raised the price $2, so it wasn't as great a deal as I was hoping for.
As we walked in and went straight to the fun summer toys, a man came up to us. He asked if we'd ever seen High School Musical. I said of course. I mean, who hasn't!? Oh wait, maybe every adult out there doesn't watch teeny bopper movies like me. Then he asked if we'd seen Fight Club. Ummm, that would be a no. I'm not really into the whole watching people beat the day lights out of each other. He then tells us he is from a local talent agency and asked if we'd ever thought of getting our kids into acting or modeling. Let's see, I've always thought my kids were cute, but I guess I just figured that's how it is when you're their mom.
We Stood there trying to decide if he was ligit or just some creepy guy, as he told us about how he also was in a store and some one came up to him and that he had one line in a film. Ryan had heard of the talent agency before so we decided to take his word that he wasn't a pedifile despite not having any business cards with him. He took down my number and said they would get a hold of us. We could ask whatever questions we wanted to and they don't push you into anything. I'm still not sure how fight club fits in with the rest of his schpeel
So, I guess I'm not the only one who thinks my kids are cute. Any advice here? What are questions I should ask? We aren't saying we're doing anything, but I figure we can always look into it and go with the flow.

5th Birthday
I can't believe he is 5! Although, can I say I'm happy he is 5? The thing in our house is Owl starts talking about his next birthday the day after his birthday. Which makes for a very long year of how his birthday is going to be. By the time February comes around we realize others birthdays are coming up, like Monkey's and Ryan's.
Last week Monkey informed me that he wanted a party with 5 friends. The problem: it's March and usually not warm outside, we have a small apartment, and I can't figure out how to come up with a party in a week. So of course, we do cake and presents with just our family. Today, grandma and grandpa got to join our little celebration.
These are some of my favorite pictures of him. He was my chunkiest and I loved it!

Yesterday, Monkey requested brownie cake. He didn't even eat his piece. I think my kids like the idea of cake and brownies, but not actually eating them.
Frog and Owl had to get in on the action. We have way too many of these Star Wars characters but we just seem to keep getting more. Maybe someday we'll move on to Lego's!

Cravings
Sadly when I'm pregnant I crave fast food and restaurants. I think it might be because I don't like to cook when I'm pregnant. Today I went to KFC because I was craving their gravy. I went and bought just gravy. The guy didn't know what to do with me and was pretty confused. He asked what size I wanted. I just wanted the big one that comes with the big potatoes. Of course he gave me a small single serving amount.
I came home and cooked my dinner. Pan fried chicken, baked asparagus and potatoes and gravy. I dig into my much awaited potatoes and gravy and what do I find? It's not just their gravy I was craving, it was the whole package. I should have gotten the potatoes with the gravy. At least the guy wouldn't have been confused.
