feeling off

I'm pretty sure I have some sort of vitamin deficiency or a hormone imbalance. I have gotten to the point where I don't feel. You may wonder what exactly that could mean. I get upset with the kids and I don't feel anything. I don't feel happy or sad. I just don't really feel anything.

My skin has also gotten more sensitive. I will get a rash on my skin for absolutely no reason. I mean, it seems like no reason. I told my midwife of this and she said I should probably get tested. When I made an appointment with another midwife, it was either April 1st or April 28th. Gee, which would I rather have? next week or the end of next month? I thought having a midwife was supposed to help you get appointments sooner. Maybe she has gotten more popular. Oh well, Ryan gets to stay home with the kids so I can go by myself.

Wish me luck! I hope they figure out what is wrong because I'm tired of this. You know, everything was fine until I had my 4th kid. Now I seem to be slowly falling apart.

Oh and you may ask why so many midwives. One problem with having homebirths is that the homebirth midwife doesn't do well women care, so I have an awesome relationship with her but I can't use her for every day things. Although she is awesome and will answer my questions in e-mails.

Good luck with the testing. I hope they are able to figure things out for you. There's nothing worse than feeling like you can't function at your best.

Good luck! You may end up needing to go to a naturopath or at least a more naturally-oriented physician to get the tests you need. Several of my friends have had hormone and nutrition panels done for this same reason.
